Hi, my name is Michelle. I was born and raised in the UK and re-located to Sydney, Australia in 2014. I’ve always had a passion for photography and have embraced it even more so since living here in Australia. I first learnt about photography in high school, but things were very different in those days. Back then I mainly used a 35mm Canon camera and developed my pictures in a dark room which doubled up as an art supply cupboard.
My photography and processing techniques have come a long way since then and there’ve been so many inspirational aspects to be found along the way in all the wonderful places I’ve visited across the globe. Whether it be from scenery to plant life, from buildings to landscapes, or simply from the things around us to those everyday objects we often overlook. There is just so much to keep the creative juices flowing.
I take great pleasure from taking photographs and get an even bigger thrill from reprocessing my images to the stage where they usually look completely different from the original image. They are all reflections on my life. I call it life in effect.
I love to travel and enjoy experiencing and learning about all the different worlds within this one big world.
